A view of the museum with its full backdrop: This provides one with an understanding of how the structure acts as a cultural icon due the use of landform building mechanisms that represent the Arab culture. Especially in contrast to the many modern skyscrapers surrounding it.

The contrast of the vibrant lighting in the backdrop and the simple lighting used within the museum is clearly displayed here. It shows a simple play of light and shadow while highlighting the structures 'sand dune' like qualities.
